Privacy and data retention.
What Digital Meld collects through this website, why we use it, where it goes, and how to ask about or delete it.
Last updated July 22, 2026.
The short version
Digital Meld collects only the information needed to respond to an inquiry, evaluate a guest pitch or application, protect the forms from abuse, and understand which site content is useful. We do not sell or rent personal information. Form submissions are delivered by email rather than stored in a separate website database.
Information we collect
Required fields are marked on each form. Optional fields can be left blank.
Contact inquiries
Name, work email, and a problem description. Company, problem-area categories, and engagement stage are optional. The form also includes a hidden anti-spam field and, when enabled, a Cloudflare Turnstile verification token.
Podcast guest inquiries
Name, email, phone number, LinkedIn profile, show idea, and confirmation that the guest has a professional microphone and camera. The form also uses a hidden anti-spam field and Cloudflare Turnstile verification.
Career applications
Application type, name, email, and written answers about problems solved, work built, and role fit. Phone and links to LinkedIn, GitHub, and Twitter are optional. Do not submit confidential client material, government identifiers, financial information, or health information.
Site use and technical data
Digital Meld uses OpenPanel to record page paths, page titles, and a small set of interaction events, such as a consultation, email, service, offer, podcast, or social-link click. Contact analytics can also record form lifecycle actions and the fixed slugs for optional problem-area and engagement-stage selections. The site is designed not to send names, email addresses, company names, problem-description text, other form text, URL query strings, or URL fragments to analytics. A referrer is reduced to a same-origin path or external origin before events are sent. The analytics service also processes ordinary browser, device, and request metadata needed to receive and aggregate events. Cloudflare, the hosting stack, and other network providers may process ordinary request data such as IP address, browser or device details, timestamps, and security signals to deliver and protect the site.
How we use information
Inquiries
To understand the request, respond, schedule follow-up, decide whether Digital Meld is a fit, and maintain a reasonable business record of the conversation.
Applications
To evaluate experience and fit, communicate about a current or potential role, coordinate interviews, and maintain a reasonable recruiting record.
Security and reliability
To prevent spam and abuse, enforce rate limits, diagnose failures, and keep the site and its forms available.
Site improvement
To understand which routes and calls to action are useful and improve content, navigation, and service information.
Service providers and external services
Digital Meld shares information only with services needed to operate the website and the requested workflow, or when disclosure is required to protect people, the business, or comply with law.
Resend
Delivers contact, careers, and podcast guest submissions to Digital Meld email recipients. The submitted form fields are included in that email.
Cloudflare and Turnstile
Provide edge delivery, security controls, and human-verification checks. Cloudflare may process request, device, and verification data under its own terms.
Cloudflare hosting
Serves the website and runs its form endpoints at the edge. Requests and bounded operational errors may be processed in infrastructure logs; form bodies are not intentionally written to application logs.
OpenPanel
Provides the limited site analytics described above. It does not need the contents of contact, careers, or podcast guest forms.
Choosing “Book a Consultation” opens Microsoft Bookings, and other outbound links open services such as LinkedIn, GitHub, Twitter, YouTube, Spotify, or partner sites. Information submitted directly to those services is governed by their privacy terms, not this notice.
Retention, access, and deletion
The website does not maintain a separate database of contact, careers, or podcast guest submissions. Submitted information is delivered into Digital Meld's operational email system. Inquiry records are kept only as long as reasonably needed to respond, continue the business relationship, maintain necessary business records, resolve disputes, or meet legal obligations. Applicant records are kept only while evaluating the current or a reasonably anticipated role and for necessary recruiting, dispute, or legal records. Records that are no longer needed are deleted or de-identified through normal mailbox and business-record cleanup.
Security, hosting, and provider logs are retained according to operational needs and provider settings. Limited analytics may be kept long enough to compare site performance over time; aggregated or de-identified reporting may be kept longer. Digital Meld periodically reviews these records and removes them when they are no longer useful or required.
To ask what information Digital Meld has about you, correct it, or request deletion, email contact@digitalmeld.io. Include enough context to identify the inquiry, guest pitch, or application, but do not email sensitive identity documents unless requested through a secure channel. Digital Meld may need to verify the request and may retain a limited record when required for security, legal obligations, or an existing business record.

This business website is not directed to children under 13, and Digital Meld does not knowingly seek personal information from them through these forms.
Security
Digital Meld uses reasonable technical and operational safeguards, but no internet transmission or storage system can be guaranteed completely secure.
